Surface preparation defines every restoration outcome. Paint, plating, weld inspection, corrosion treatment, recommissioning — every stage that follows depends on what's beneath the contamination, and how cleanly it's revealed.
Most cleaning methods damage what they're meant to expose. Abrasives wear original metal. Solvents leave residue. Water introduces moisture into seams and cavities that take years to dry out. Dry ice blasting does none of those things — applied correctly, by people who understand the substrate underneath.

Most operators applying dry ice to vehicles are using small, handheld kit paired with inferior compressors and poor air management — introducing moisture and contamination into the very process designed to remove it. As the job goes on, pressure drops, results become inconsistent, and the finish suffers.
We built Sublime around something different. Our professional-grade compressors deliver constant, unlimited airflow at the same pressure from the first minute to the last. There is no drop-off. The cleaning performance at the end of a full day's work is identical to the beginning.
Our blasting machines give our technicians precise control over how the dry ice is delivered — the size of the particles, the flow rate, and the pressure behind them. That means we can work gently on a delicate painted surface and more aggressively on heavy underbody contamination, adjusting as we go. Every setting is dialled specifically to the vehicle in front of us.
The result is consistent, thorough cleaning with no shortcuts and no degradation in quality across the job — however long it takes.

UNDERBODY & CHASSIS
Full Underbody Package
Complete underbody, chassis members, wheel arches and suspension. Wheels and undertrays removed where access requires it. Removes years of compacted contamination, salt and bitumen residue — leaving every surface ready for inspection or protection.
Underbody Only
Full underfloor pan cleaned of all contamination, road film and surface deposits. The ideal preparation for a long-term corrosion protection system.
Wheel Arches (inc. liner removal)
Arch liners removed and cleaned independently. Compacted mud, salt and road film removed from the areas most vulnerable to retained moisture and corrosion.
Suspension & Brakes
Suspension components, subframes, dampers, calipers and hardware — cleaned without disassembly, without moisture, without abrasive damage to bushes or seals.
Underseal / Bitumen Removal
Thermal shock fractures aged underseal cleanly from the substrate. No grinding, no abrasive damage to original metalwork or factory seams.
ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN
Engine Bay
Block, ancillaries, bulkhead, inner wings and wiring. Removes oil contamination and accumulated soiling without water or solvents. Non-conductive throughout.
Drivetrain / Gearbox
Gearbox casing, bellhousing, propshaft, differentials. Original casting condition exposed for accurate inspection ahead of rebuild or recommissioning.
Exhaust System
Manifolds, downpipes, catalytic converters and heat shields. Carbon bake and heat-bonded deposits removed without risk to sensors or substrates.
PRESENTATION
Full Exterior Detail
Panel faces, door jambs, shut lines and sill bases. Removes contamination from areas conventional detailing cannot reach. Safe on all paint systems.
Concours Interior Prep
Sill channels, pillar bases, seat runners and under-dash areas. Cleans the places experienced judges examine — without moisture risk to trim or wiring.
Boot & Luggage Compartment
Boot floor, spare wheel well, inner arches and deck lid seals. Removes accumulated debris and moisture from areas rarely cleaned — without risk to trim, wiring or original finishes.
CORROSION PROTECTION
The cleanest substrate deserves the best protection.
A clean substrate is the foundation. Protection applied to bare, contaminant-free metal bonds harder, lasts longer, and delivers significantly better value than the same product applied over road film and surface deposits.
We deliver four protection systems in-house, each chosen for a different timeframe and use case. We don't lead with one product — we assess the vehicle, the storage conditions and the goal, then recommend the right system.
